The app estimates flexible electricity timing using market data and optional local settings. It does not currently require an account, location permission, contacts, photos, microphone, advertising ID, or payment information.
The web app stores your selected load, bill settings, vehicle model, battery size, charging percentage, tariff-comparison assumptions, editable offers, and saved profiles in browser or WebView storage on your device. These settings help the planner remember your preferences.
Our backend stores Red Electrica market responses by date so the app does not call the source API on every visit. If you use the demo charger connector, the backend stores a random app user ID, demo device, charge plan, and command log. The demo connector does not control real hardware.
Power Window is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process technical information such as IP address, request metadata, and security logs to deliver, protect, and operate the service. We do not sell personal data.
If you choose to allow analytics, the site loads Google Analytics to measure page views and basic usage patterns. This helps us understand which features are useful. Analytics is optional, no ads personalization is configured, and Google Analytics is not loaded before you allow it.
The Android wrapper uses internet access to load the Power Window website. Browser notifications are optional and are only used if you choose to set a local reminder. The app does not request precise location, contacts, camera, microphone, SMS, or phone permissions.
Local planner settings stay on your device until you clear browser/app storage. Historical market data may be kept indefinitely because it is public market data. Demo connector records may be retained for testing and support unless deletion is requested.
